I have just released my first CD, FILL THIS PLACE in 2009. It's a compilation of my original songs, older and newer. I think it has a song for everyone. My influences were mostly country, but I liked Rock and Roll a lot too! You might be able to tell!
The earlier songs were born out of situations in my life that only God could help me through, and He did.
It is my first attempt at recording, but not the last, I hope. I recorded a single, Receive my love, in Mar 2010 because it should have been on Fill this place. You can order it separaratly.
How I got started:
I have been fooling around with the guitar and singing in the church, for about 28 years. I've had no voice or guitar lessons. I started slowly, writing my own songs, about the same time. I started simply by singing my songs in small church groups. I was very shy and this was a big step for me. Gradually, and at the urging of leaders, I started to lead worship in bible studies, then the main church service; then Aglow and other conferences. Now I travel to other Provinces, and have travelled up to northern Canada, as far as Yellowknife and to the States, to lead worship. I have also travelled to the Philippines and Haiti, and led worship there. I worship the Lord, and people follow. Today I'm the Worship Pastor at Eagle Mountain Church.
